MIDA’s objective is to introduce machine learning methodologies in oil analysis for fault prevention.
The improvements proposed by MIDA project can be summarised as follows:
- Investigation of the most durable, but light hardware, to develop a portable and reliable product
- Definition of a new set of parameters to increase the efficiency of oil analysis and identification of the proper sensors to collect these parameters
- Design of a competitive device that will be able to work without an internet connection to control the proper functioning of machinery (by monitoring oil status) without stopping the assembly line
- Use of machine learning methodologies in oil analysis for fault prevention
This concerns the design and development of algorithms that make computers able to evolve behaviours based on data empirically collected from, for example, sensors, databases.
